  • Old: Oriel Window next door to St Andrew-by-the-Wardrobe, just south of St Pauls

    New: Had the Wardrobe, now the Lyons, (no witches though*)

    *except if you take an onion product onto the heath

  • The oriel window is part of St Andrews House, which used to the residence of the priest attached to the wonderfully named St Andrew by the Wardrobe. The church is not much used now and is looked after by a priest whose main church is nearby.

    The house (and that window) are clearly visible from St Andrews Hill but I guess not a lot of people who won't work in the immediate area have much reason to walk up that road (although the Cockpit is a nice old pub).
