nine speed Mirage stuff. These shifters are actually the "best bung for buck" type ones with:
-Alloy internal mechanics
-NON-escape version, sweeps through the entire cassette towards the maller cogs, and can shift up three cogs at a time
-the left shifter has tons of clicks to be either use with double or triple chainsets, and allows you to fine-tune the derailleur cage&trim infinitely.
-the internals can be re-newed and even upgraded to ten speed...i highly recommend them :)

I was out when it went past £60, not sure I'd want to risk throwing too much money at it. Probably fine but yuck. Looked like someone used a brake on a non-brake surface.

£200 BIN collection in Manchester Claud Butler track bike, vintage frame re-painted with newer comps. Looks like a 54 or so? Bargain considering just the frame is worth that (if I'm correct it's indeed a 70sish Claude Butler)

I found this nice Cambio Rino. Most pieces have Rino markings.

Similar to Jwestlands find above. £200 claude butler track/path frame in Manchester. Horrible build but if the bits are included they could be sold on. Seller has pretty terrible feedback though...

Mystery size (but looks large) Thorn XTC with unusually chromed lugs... 725 and I'd say Lee Cooper or Kevin Sayles made. In Devon, starts at £200. Excellent lightweight tourer that takes up to 2.2 tires (it's 26"). I've got one, love it.

Ha!
"Purchased from LFGSS. Rear drop outs have been replaced with track Drop Outs and not painted. This is all a bit messed up..."
-
• #52898
Ha, I saw that. Those drop outs look like they were cut out of an oil drum by hand.

I've been watching this Argos, pondering whether to get it purely for the forks... trying to resist, as I don't think I could sell on the frame on it's own...

Mad mad mad bargain. 653 Rixon lo-pro (700/650). Lovely lugwork, wonderful forks, even looks like it has fastback seatstays. Has all the brazings needed for gears and semi-horizontal dropouts for conversion. Oh, and it's only £50 + postage. £50!!!

Wish I could justify it but I really shouldn't. Only thing worth mentioning is that the chainstays look kind of odd, but could be just the picture. I'd ask for extra pics just in case. Please let me know if anyone on here ends up taking it, would love to see how it gets built up :-)
10spd basic campag stuff ending tomorrow?
