You may want to edit it and say 'pm me for code' otherwise it'll probably get pulled ;)
-
• #20531
Already pulled, I reckon. Code was applied to basket but then invalidated when processing payment.

Oh well

Gurlfriend, I need Scottish sizing.

got the pro and the classic a few weeks ago. both great, but i like more the pro, as the compression is a bit more, than the classic one.

Got my eBay super lightweight jersey this morning. Glad to see it's white and blue rather than the toothpaste green in the photo.

Ahh, mine should be coming today too, i think.

I haven't ridden in it yet but it seems really nice. It's polyester. No lycra-mix anywhere so close cut but off the skin. Should be really comfortable in heat.

Picked up a super lightweight jersey at the outlet store. should be great in heat, but my girlfriend says its bordering on obscene when worn without a base layer. Handily, a base layer makes it more usable across different temperatures.

20% code over here if anyone's interested.

I am never quick enough off the mark for these, note too self – need to look at the thread more often

I know this has been asked before, but to save searching x hundred pages...
Mix and match base layers in a bundle deal. Can you do this online? I have a 30% code, so thought I'd grab a pack of 3, but don't want 3 of the same kind.
If only possible in store, can I still use the code?

Oh, also, opinions on the Merino mesh? How fragile is it?
-
• #20544
The merino mesh baselayer is one of my favourite pieces of kit for the late spring/summer. It does feel a touch fragile at first (probably due to the weight), but I've found it to be fairly robust. I'd recommend one of those netted laundry bags when putting in the washing machine to avoid snagging, though.

I have one, IMO there's a really narrow band of conditions when it's worth using, but it's excellent in those conditions. Perfect for cold early season racing, but a standard merion base layer is better for anything else cold and a synthetic mesh baselayer better for anything hot.
-
• #20546
yup - they are good and actually quite a lot warmer than you might think.
Just watch out for velcro coming in contact with it - as it will quickly ruin them.
-
• #20547
That's a shame, as I was aiming to get these for warmer days. So, PT base for warm days is best?
-
• #20548
That would be my option, they wick away sweat so well that they never feel wet. It is a very versatile base layer that will work through the seasons when layering is done right. They also wear really well – I haven't got damage in any of mine after lots of use.

Sold. Cheers

Do they genuinely make you cooler than not wearing one in the hot then?
would be wearing under a sportwool jersey most of the time
Juan Antonio Flecha has been looking pretty dapper in Rapha for Giro Extra over the past few days.
