Inside of the box looks darker on the right, could just be lighting

Clearly the dress is blue and black and everyone who thinks differently is an idiot.

1 looks mango
Have you seen the Mango? It's much more orange than that. You really need to look at the flanges end on and next to one another to see if the colour is consistent, as you've shown them the different shapes are going to make the colours look different.

Hulsroy. I am going stop selling those novatec f482 hubs (they are not called x light) as i hardly sell any and nearly every time someone enquires about them i end up steeringbthem toward something else. They are race day hubs only and even then they sometimes suffer premature nds bearing failure. Even if the beairngs dont suffer premature failure thwy rarley last more then a few thousand miles before you have to change them. If you use them in the wet it can be alot sooner. Miche hubs give longer bearing life so do the heavier novatec a171 f172 or shimano hubs.
As for spoke weight i use 7.25g for a sapim race with brass nipple in 290mm length when estimating wheel weights.
There a few early disc cx bikes wwith 130mm old. It was obvious back then that standard was not going to last.

They may appear similar to the flo30 but the point of the flos are they're toroidal, developed with CFD modelling and a wind tunnel.
DT 460 I like hills.

I'm happy for you.

In all seriousness and in the kindest way: @fussballclub if you'd like responses to your posts from me please help me out and write complete sentences in the English language. I never know whatthefuck you're on about.

The DT460 seems to me a rim that might be the very good and low cost alternative to any of the other wider rims. Obviously you can only get it on a power tap wheel set or if you buy a Canyon with a R23 wheel set. As nobody seems to have any of these and you seem not to be able to buy the rim we are speculating about how good these are.
Not that I need any new wheels at the moment anyway as Ardennes should last me for a while.

Yes thanks, I found a image of the 'mango' and its nothing like it.
I'm beginning to think the front hub is more yellow than gold.
End on end they look a closer match. -

I have had r460 rims on order for a while still waiting.

I think you'll be OK with the hubs... when they are on the bike you can't look at them both contemporarily, so you will never notice

Thank you. I might just go for the 105 hubs then an live with a 2kg ish wheel set. Then buy a more race specific wheel set later on if I feel the need for it.

A good choice although ultegra 6600 hubs (they are still about) will do stellar mileage and what I would prefer to ride as 105 hubs can look a bit ropey inside after 15000 miles or so. Ultegra hubs if serviced will last alot longer. So how many miles do you will determine which hubs you should use.

That's the whole issue. I am going 11sp this summer. Otherwise I would have kept my hope hubs.

You could always get the 6800 hubs if you dont mind grey. one of the best hubs on the market For high mile use followed by the more expensive campagnolo record which can be had with a hg body. More money though. 105 hubs are fine for most golks though.

You could always get the 6800 hubs
Generalising to all Shimano products, the management process goes like this:
Stuff below Ultegra/XT - how cheap can we make it?
Ultegra/XT - how good can we make it?
DuraAce/XTR - how expensive can we make it? -

so do the heavier novatec a171 f172
Glad I went with them then. Am about to build them with 38mm Chinese crabon rims and some no-name bladed spokes. Got them at cnc just like @Hulsroy . Plan is to copy my existing ebay wheelset ie 20h front (radial) and 24h rear (radial nds 2x ds). Regarding rear - any tips for lacing, do all the radials first and then ds with 2x?

whats difference between Novatec 172 and 162 hubs? spec looks the same, just the shape of hubs body?

whats difference between Novatec 172 and 162 hubs?
6g :-)
The fatter body on the heavier hub should be more torsionally rigid, making for better transfer of drive load across the hub. That could explain why they don't do 20H on the skinny version.
At first I thought it was mango, but as you said its just darker.
