Yup the rack comes with all the washers you need, just not the axel mount as I said earlier.
I never thought about flipping it, that's really interesting. The rack does sit very high, so high in fact that I used the MTB attachment rather than the road one. You might be onto something there.

Very nice ride, got a couple of questions. Does the washer come when buying the rack? And is it possible to put it upside down so that the rack seats lower?
