  • I don't think it's too ugly. Def not best looking but not too bad...

The bit that attaches it to the bars is a bit meh, so am just going to bungee jump and cable tie it on... And a bolt has already sheared in the attachment bit so build quality def not the best but it is big enough to fit lil toko, who will soon be cruising in style.

Also something else to note, the one on amazon has 2 bars on the back section, the one I got sent has 3... Actually better for me in this situation but might be annoying if you wanted it slightly smaller.

  • Fucking hell, you're planning on putting a Frenchie on your brakeless rack bike, with a sheared bolt and bungeed on mounts?

Fuck. That. Get a more suitable bike or setup for the purpose if that's the case, please. I'd never dare put my dog on a front rack. My Frenchie weighs nearly 10kg and that is more than enough to fuck up the handling.

  • Hah no it's getting a disc brake and the screw will be fixed. There is still a lot to do before it is dog ready don't you worry.

Also if it doesn't work re handling or I don't feel it's safe then I would get something else, bullit bike fund has already started

  • And actually having just met a fully grown frenchie it would be far too big so would just be for the first few months anyway

  • If you split the dog between two panniers, the balance will be better. Compression sacks also help.
