Thanks everyone, waiting for a quote from Grantham's guys, but I think given the timing between now and Saturday (and the additional need to arrange boards) that we're going to have to rain check with them on this one at the risk of it coming off half-arsed, but I'll follow up all the insurers to get the info so that we are well prepared for next time, which seems like it could be in the next few months :)
G(lasgow)HBPA have been asked to do basically exhibition play at a council event this weekend. Ridiculously short notice, so I assume someone else has dropped out.
They have said that public liability insurance is essential (I assume for injuring any of their spectators, and /or injuring ourselves and making a claim against them as the owner of the building) but so far the first legit google result I got was referred to underwriters who said they don't insure bike polo.
Anyone any pointers of friendly companies to speak to, to get this turned around ASAP?
