The Cat Thread

That's what I thought and what I have done the last couple of times I was away. The problem this time is though, it's my designated cat sitting friend's wedding, so my guess is he'll be away too.

Fucking grim ride to work this morning happening upon cat that had been hit by a car near Lidl in Lewisham and was still alive and flapping around like fish in the road with blood everywhere, kids were crying and people screaming and an amazing lady was trying to grab it whilst cars were swerving to drive around it.

I couldn't even think what you could do in a situation like that and was in tears for most of the journey in with combo of the fucking horror plus thinking I'd be just as useless even if that was my cat dying in the road. Still kills me now.

RIP kitty.

What and not use the LFGSS cat annoying service?

You never know, maybe the kitty has made it through. Maybe...

I wouldn't know what I would do either if I am faced with it, but I would like to think if it happened in front of me, I would be able to hold it together and get the cat to the nearest vet or whatever. It's hard... :-(

Yay, when can I visit?

Why would they dissect cats? Maybe for vets but a high school or have I missed something. Can see dissecting a rodent or something that you would eat but a cat seems a bit odd.

who knows? I don't remember my school days having done anything remotely similar, the closest we had was a cow eyeball, which I refused to touch.

2 mice in 2 hours between 3:30-5:30 in the morning... I am not my cats favourite person at the moment because I let both go alive out the front door. And I am sure by now my whole neighborhood has no mice left.

Yay for cats.
