That Giro stage is why I watch cycling.
Canny move by Tinkoff to get Kreuziger in the break. What a ride by Astana though.
Tomorrow's stage should be a beaut as well. I don't reckon any of the GC contenders will want to take the lead just yet but they won't want to be losing any time either so hopefully it'll be tasty up that last climb.

I reckon Aru wants it. Wouldn't be sure he could hold it until the end - Bertie should ride himself into form, and there's no way Aru's not shedding minutes on that 59km TT, so as the home favourite he'll want to get in pink any time he can.

I'm reading about this here:
http://www.cyclingnews.com/giro-ditaliaThere's no way I can watch any of it in work, is there a better way to keep track of it? I'm pretty new to following pro cycling

Avoid spoliers and download the stage from cyclingtorrents in the evening

The giro page has a ticker + visualization thingy.

Monumental ride from Polanc today.

Exciting last few Kms.

Disappointed Polanc didn't get more airtime and credit, fair play to him. Contador has the whole Giro to get attention.

They just interviewed him, he spoke well in English.

The big three looked pretty evenly matched. Will be interesting to see what happens on the very high steep stuff.

Well there's your top three for the GC. I'm not sure Contador will be toppled but you never know with crashes, mechanicals and so on.
Bit of a shame for it to be (seemingly) shaped so early. Astana and Tinkoff have ridden it like a one week race so far.
Porte should be worried about the lack of men around him late on in any stage with a hill so far.
Disappointing that Uran is a goner so soon as well.

Ah yes! I caught that just after posting. He sounded very happy, but not cocky. All I meant was the commentators were spending a lot longer talking about the big'uns. But I guess there's not that much to say about Polanc right now.

I doubt Tinkov's riders actually want the jersey this early, but controlling the race for 3 weeks beats having Oleg berating for 3 weeks.

Sagan won a race! Thank fuck for that.
And crosses the line on the back wheel. Lad.

• #2894
Sagan, just won, double penetration day for Oleg!
-
• #2895
I think he does that when they don't win.
-
• #2896
When asked what Oleg will make of the result... Peter dedicates the win to a DNS teammate (Bodnar?).
:-)

Good to see Aru recovered well from that virus...

I don't like their captions. Too much shit and because it's different to Eurosports I can't tell where anything is. As for flicking between mi and km, do one, mi >>>
