hey dude, the wheels and frame and brakes were all originally put together from new... I bought it from the guy who had the frame custom built... it should all fit fine and was fine from all the time I had it... but i did notice the pads were about half way worn, replacing with new ones would make better contact?

After buying this bike, being very pleased with it and taking it on the Tweed Run Recce I realised what was wrong with the brakes which do not work too well. 26" wheels have been fitted when the frame was built for 650 wheels the difference is only 12mm but the 6mm at the brake blocks makes all the difference.
Thinking about converting the brakes to calliper brakes anyone any advice on how I could do this?
