Finished this one yesterday. Have to wrap some tape but that's because I first want to find out if stem length is OK.

Scored this quite cheap yesterday. Bit of a mess, with a couple of nice parts, frame including.
Front Delta brakes face plate anyone? -

/\ looks like a good find!

• #101655
Shame it's too big. I will probably rebuild it with different part, pass it on and keep the Deltas for myself.

It's an Italcicli Cycle Systems (ICS) Magni.
Built for Peppino Magni (Fiorenzo Magni's brother) by a guy who also built Supercorsas for Cinelli. All found here: http://veloaficionado.com/ital-cicli-systems-pep-magni-custom-bicycle-by-giovanni-losa/

Is there a rack thread?
After one for my bike, i have a drilled front but it's super tight. No mudguard eyelets, anyone got anything they can recommend?

I would also be interested in this!
Cetma 5 rail, basil memories front carrier and gamoh porteur are a few I have found...
-
• #101663
I don't have the bike yet. But for me it doesn't look toe be a top end quality frame, but that's only judging from the seller photos. Will dig deeper once I collect it.

Don't think there is a thread. I have the Gamoh Portuer and really like it as do a few other forumers. If you go for the Gamoh and have track axles you'll need an adapter or do some drilling, I learned that the hard way. The Soma seems to be more suited to track axles. The Cetma 5 seems to be more heavy duty.

Would be for track axles yeah so thats quite help full thanks! Have bought the basil memories off amazon cus its about £15 at the moment. Then just going to keep an eye out for a second hand cetma down the line... I am unsure it the gamoh / soma would be sturdy enough for the purposes
Bit like this but with a shorter top...

Need to get a decent bag sorted ASAP. How are you getting on with the Chrome bag? Lack of strap and separate compartments are stopping me from pulling the trigger.

When you say track axles, do you mean similar to the Orbit closest to the camera (with risers?)
The front i can swap onto my beater and not really care too much as they've been replaced with some carbon tubulars. Do they just screw on?
It would be going on this bike
Would the Gamoh porteur be alright on this? @robotowe need a rack thread

rack thread (sort of) https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/265879/
-
• #101673
Yup, that's what I mean.
The Gammoh only comes with an attachment for Quick Release skewers, you need to get axel mount attachment. They call it an 'optional extra' but I couldn't find any supplier with one.
I ended up drilling out the QR mount to my axel width (9mm), it was a pain in the hole though.

Hmm, tempted just for the Basil, like timbre it's pretty cheap at the moment. Assumably i'm gonna have to run risers though?

The Chrome Bag straps onto the rack just fine. Just clip, tighten and go. Lack of compartments was a bit weird at first. But I've got small pouches and bags inside the bag (yo dawg) and that keeps things separated and easy to find when I need them.
Disassembled my mtb fork and reoiled and cleaned up the seals. Will have to replace the seals at the end of this season, as well as keep an eye out on the damper system as apparently rockshox has a warranty replacement on it due to failure.
Will have to test it soon! Hopefully I won't go over the handlebars!
