Pozzovivo stuff was fucked.
OGE have really found their niche. They had that stage down.

Good sprint. Nice to see poulini up there

Do we cheer Aussies cos there are no Brits?
Stupid baseball caps though...

Yes

Why not just wear a mussette

Obviously. People who speak English are not as mysterious swarthy cheating foreigners. You can never tell what they're saying, but it's probably something about our women.

Pozzovivo stuff was fucked.
Do you mean his equipment?
Are AGR using some kind of SRAM blue-tooth shifters this season?
-
• #2834
No, sorry. Just seeing someone unconscious, limp, next to a small puddle of blood. Horrifying.
-
• #2835
Yeah, the rag-doll feeling of it all. Nasty. Went past a chap who'd binned it on the College Road descent once, who was just coming round in the arms of his mates - that was a similarly horrifying thing. I guess smashing your head on the deck is an instant knock-out, and the blood flows easily from there too.
Any time I get annoyed with myself being a nervy/slow descender, I just have to look at this sort of thing and remind myself that it ain't so bad to be cautious. -

Yes. quiet a sad sight to see. for a while it looked like Fabio Casatelli's fatal fall in the 1995 TDF.
-
• #2837
Fingers crossed there are no complications during recovery/surgery.
Recently someone overtook us on a descent in the west country during a sportive, only just cut back in time before flying over an oncoming car. Was very glad we didn't have to see something worse from it. Definitely slowed us down a bit on our next descents.

Watching today's Giro replay, what on earth is up with Henao? He needs to go sleep on the magic bus.
-
• #2839
Are you confusing Sebastian Henao with Sergio Henao?

I think it's time for this video again!

For as long as I can remember I always wanted to be a gangster, like Oleg Tinkoff.
-
• #2842
It was alright. His reasons for accepting his xBE were the only thing I really found interesting (not that he wanted it, but to show that someone like him could get one, and for his granddad).
The real reason is that he wanted to be a knight rider. But, of course, he can't tell anyone that.

What's Tiralongo doing getting up there in the sprints 2 days in a row?!
-
• #2844
I didn't see the race today, sounds terrible about Pozzovivo. I hope it's not as bad as it looked.

Tour of California host broadcaster showing how to cover cycling right now. Lots of data on time gaps and abandons. Plus useful captions on the riders.
I can't get excited about this race though, even though it attracts good names.

Stage 4 is another that looks like it was designed for Matthews...

Just makes me wistful of 'this time last year'.
Getting in from work, kicking back and seeing BW pied piper the peloton up some fairly interesting parcours, aiming to (as we thought) impress enough to warrant his super domestique place in Crash's tour squad.
(Yeah, I know #getoverit etc)

Mr. Tinkoff is living the dream (for now) he has wealth, looks, probably women and he owns his own pro-tour team!
I wish I was like him as well. -

His wealth is not quite as great as it was though - the Rouble's been hit by the fall in oil prices, and I read something about his bank not doing as well either.
I mean, I'm clutching straws slightly - his person wealth is still in the hundreds of millions, but it's not up near a billion where it used to be.
A doctor speaking to RAi says Pozzovivo is 'comfortable'.
