Fingers crossed there are no complications during recovery/surgery.
Recently someone overtook us on a descent in the west country during a sportive, only just cut back in time before flying over an oncoming car. Was very glad we didn't have to see something worse from it. Definitely slowed us down a bit on our next descents.
