@tina.kino @withered_preacher, thanks, quite a hard place to get a good picture, there was just so much going on, I really wasn't sure if any of the photos would make sense..

Dropped the D700.
Ah, shit..
But what do you mean, you "dropped" it?
Sorry, not trying to be a smart arse - it's really just that I was thinking about a fellow photographer here in Berlin again yesterday, who always shakes his head and tells me to "please get a camera strap - what if you drop it ?!".
I get that straps are comfortable with heavy cameras, but can't stand the thing dangling on my side - also, when it's crowded, people bump on the lens all the time - so I either have the thing in my hand, or in the bag.My point / question being - you don't need a strap "for safety", as nobody's just "dropping" cameras (and even if you had a strap, if you dropped it while holding it in your hand / shooting, it will not help you much, if you didn't put it around your neck like a tourist)... so what did you do?

I love the second one,
Shot after an intense storm in Havana, which left a few dead and extensive damage. most wanted out of the city, so grabbing a vintage 50's taxi was the way to go for some
for those interested, leica m9, 50mm canon (japanese summilux m-mount)
