Sir Wigginz was on Radio 4 Desert Island Discs yesterday, is available for playback on the BBC website.

Is an interesting interview (nothing new, but Brad sounds relaxed and honest), and some good tunes.

I listened this morning. Kirsty Young seems to have a knack of getting people to open up. Even Morrisey came across as reasonably well adjusted when he was on.

Definitely worth a listen but don't forget it's aimed at Radio 2 listeners rather than sad cases (me included) who spend half their waking lives reading about cycling and posting on forums.

But surprised that there was no Weller/Jam/Style Council on the list. Pretty uninspiring musically.

It was alright. His reasons for accepting his xBE were the only thing I really found interesting (not that he wanted it, but to show that someone like him could get one, and for his granddad).

Knighthood. But yeah, that was quite interesting. He was happy once he'd got Weller's approval.

Which is a CBE according to wikipedia (as far as I can make sense of its arcane weirdness). I couldn't remember exactly what type of BE it was, hence x.

Making me not want to watch, not good thing to see. At least Eurosport are apologising and say he deserves more dignity than that, being shown over and over.

Just saw an aerial reply-seems to have lost his front wheel and slid out without any time to react. Nasty.

Yes his front end just went from under him hit the ground face first.
His face is badly bruised/marked on the right side.
