Any recipe ideas for using leftover bits of filo pastry? I made a pastry thing with courgette, peppers, tomato purée, goats cheese and spring onion. It was delicious.
But the pastry was some proper Turkish stuff and came in big weird oval sheets so I had to cut off loads of edge bits which I have in a big bowl.
Anything quick and easy I could do with the scraps?
Place on a tray, cover in butter and sugar, cook until crispy. Take bowl, add fruit compot, cream, ice cream, nuts, chocolate (or whatever else you like) and make an uber-sundae?
