@tyeness, you might be able to use an intermediate piece of flat metal? Or a spacer (valve locknuts work a treat) to bring it out just far enough.
The Cotic is nice, very well finished and handles solidly, even when loaded up like that. Could do with a second set of eyelets at the front (they call it a 'life bike' and don't think about that?) or lowrider bosses. Note that the fork dropouts are fully enclosed. Yes it's reassuring, but a pain to fit anything other than a proper thru axle and impossible for a bolt on axle.
If you're a fiend for drop bars then they have a frame designed to take them without needing a mega short stem.

Cool, glad to hear that! Yeah I thought the geo looked good for front loading but I'm a bit put off by the lack of eyelets and the thru-axle. Though I think with the Escapade frame is available without forks.
I should see how much a framebuilder would charge to either add some more braze-ons to a fork, or to build a new one...
Seems a lot of luggage, do you run a market stall?!
