I saw a car this afternoon (W201) that I liked a lot.
One small snag is that the owner says the person he bought it off never sent the V5 form off to the DVLA after selling it, and because he decided to sell it, he never sent off the V5C with his details on. He has this and it is from the car's log book so apparently I can just fill out a V62 form and register it in my name and that should be fine.
Are there any potential issues with this?
Also, the accelerator cable needs tightening a bit, as I noticed a bit of play before it bites and when we checked it there is a bit of dead space before it engages. Is that quite straightforward/cheap to sort?
