    T'is a bloody lovely frame (14bike co, made by Lee Cooper) which makes it even possible to contemplate keeping a too big bike...

  • thanks for the kind words-a pair of compact drops on your build will help with the fit but a big bike will always be a big bike... I dunno if I'd want my knackers so close to the top tube!

    What's the gearing btw? Looks pretty meaty!

  • I've got 99 problems...but knackers & top tube collision risk isn't one :p

    50*18 so it's not too bad. Took it out for a spin today, it does seem a bit long for me...great ride otherwise, very stable feels like something you can cycle with no hands easily. Lee Cooper has built a bucket of touring bikes, used to make frames for Thorn, so that's no surprise in a way.

    Love the paint on yours, what happened to mad 90s paintjobs of nearly all bikes :'(
