why not istanbul, it's a fabulous place.
sea of marmara, any of the plethora of fish restaurants on the european side waterfront (kennedy cd, or road), or asian side kadikoy (bagdat cd) as far east as kartal, opposite the adalar islands, even the islands themselves
i favour the asian side as that's where our business premises are, and fewer touristique places
i say these and not the ones in the isthmus, as that waterside is more polluted

Going to Romania in July for a few days and going to try and sneak somewhere else by train for a few more days afterwards. Thoughts at this stage are Istanbul or somewhere in Greece or Croatia. Istanbul is the fave. Thoughts on where and what to eat? Or for that matter somewhere a bit less obvious than Istanbul?
