  • first off i want to say sorry for the pictures but i will take better ones if this gauges any interest. i recently purchased this lopro track frame with the idea of making a good beater, built it but after riding around for about two weeks i found it to be slightly the wrong size and not exactly what im after. a nice frame it is, however i am unsure of the framebuilder. no dents, dings etc, it has strict clearances and a chromed fork which is drilled. when i bought the frame, it was recently resprayed a dark brown which i didn't actually like at all, so i stripped the paint, it is now raw. when i stripped it, i saw signs it used to a road bike, such as braze ons removed etc, fillings. they are all very well done and neat, the rear bridge is filled and the bike has very nice track ends. the length of the top tube is around 54.5cm, i am 5,8 and i found it a little too long, though the wheelbase is quite long, i would prefer something a little more compact.

(i applied "rogers" decals which i had laying around-they are NOT under any lacquer.)

the frame is built up with a rear h+son laced to a dura ace NJS hub, 15t cog. all silver, with a gatorskin, an old unbranded aero seat that under the insertion line reads"made in italy 27.2"with an old ratty NJS jaguar ariake saddle. i actually find it comfy. generic beater old style andel crankset with a drilled 48t chainring. (crankset only used from new for two weeks, bought for this bike) mks sylvans and double straps which are quite worn but work absolutely fine. dura ace headset holding a nitto pearl stem with risers which aren't too wide. i was running a hed3 tubular on the front, but i think im gonna keep it guys, i occasionally run it on my Rychtarski, so included in the sale is a tubular old full mavic wheel which is very is radial, low profile rim without braking surface which is very very light. i would like around 360 pounds for everything you see in the picture minus the trispoke.

i hope the price isnt too high or whatever but honestly in my opinon, it doesn't sound too bad for a full bike and could be a nice little project for someone.

has clearance for 25c tyres on the back as you can see, but i think most people might prefer to run 23c just incase.

i am located in SW16, norbury and collection from there would be preferred.
