Thanks. I got a Topeak pressure-rite in the end and it is brilliant. Nice one @bmxed, cheers for the tip. It took me a while to work out how to use it as it has the valve thing in it which stops air escaping, but once I worked it out (will work when pressure on pump and tube side is equal) it's exactly what I was after.

I have Lezynes cheapest track pump with their speed chuck. Use it on my FFWD TT disc. One handed operation up to 150psi no problem.
