I love my Croix, considered the Equilibrium, but more room for bigger tyres on the Croix. Think you can get about 30c in the Equilibrium, whereas the Croix will take 40c with room for mud. Had an Equilibrium 853 before and loved it, just wanted to try discs, and will never go back. Can't fault Genesis bikes at all, good quality, good price, only let down is the colour schemes, can't see why they offer bikes in one colour and only make the frameset avaliable in a different one, case in point being the Longitude, bike in army green, frameset in beige......?
Whichever you plump for, I'm sure you'll love it.
