Hi and welcome to the Boyds Bikes Sales and Freeecycle thread. My plan is to update this page fairly regularly with some quality, some cheap and some free parts.

All parts are located next to Gospel Oak overground station and are available for collcection during office hours by prior arrangement please.

1st class next day postage is available at cost for small items (and is preferred as I am always sending other small stuff out anyway). I go to the PO every day at about 4:45pm.

Larger items can also be sent out - but given i am trying to sell stuff cheap and without too much hassle, I may not be too keen to spend an hour or two of my time finding a box and packing up a frame or wheelset.

FRAMES

FREE Battered Holdsworth frame. The derailleur hanger has been ground off, it has two dents, the bottom bracket is stuck, the forks have been drilled for a recessed allen key caliper. And the seat post is stuck in the seat tube.
I suspect the frame was also damaged at the top of the seat tube when trying to get the post out.
I cant really assess the damage until I remove the seat post, and I cant remove the seat post unless I remove the stuck bottom bracket.
Ive put as much effort as I can into this.
If you wanted to invest some money into it then Winston Vaz could weld on a new hunger and Mario could sort out the dents and respray in Orange and Blue Team colours. It could be a £250 frame but it will cost you £175 to get there and theres no guarantee the seat post is not damaged beyond repair.

The fork on that Dawes is proper nice! Why has nobody snapped it up just for that?

Do you get much through in the way of chainrings? I'm vaguely hunting for a 5-bolt 110mm BCD around the 39-tooth size.
