He did, and the jammy fucker succeeded!
Turns out he was on the electoral register all along.

He wanted to shake things up, kind of as a protest, so he voted UKIP.

Ed Balls lost his job.

Tories got in.

I really enjoyed the swimming tale (well, I enjoy all of them but could relate to the swimming one a lot). Being submerged in cold water feels so cathartic.

Don't we all know a Phil and a Judith!?

Oh c'mon Lucy, you can't just let Phil be. He's the kind of guy that desperately needs to be rabbit-holed.

We managed to oust a Phil at the beginning of this year. He went on a golfing holiday in October and never came back.

"ill" apparently. Never managed to produce a doctors note though. Definitely one for the "x has died / is gravely ill / has toenail fungus, I need to take the day off".

This story brought back memories.

I half hate Phil types and half admire the fuck out of them. Überslackers.

His lack of interest in outward appearances was astounding.

He'd regularly not show up. He'd regularly tell a story that was a blatant lie. He'd regularly attribute quotes from TV shows / comedians as his own. He'd regularly start a lunch with colleagues with a triple whisky (who the fuck orders a triple whisky ever...!?).

He was, and probably still is, a twat.

Rabbit-holing: The art of drawing a blagger round and round in their own lies until they can no longer keep track of who know and thinks what and getting their lies to unravel suddenly and explosively. Be Iago at the start, bring popcorn at the finish.
