That's actually really cheap? Good to hear man!

I'm having to do the same ATM, but in Spanish. Luckily my Spanish fails me long before my excuses/reasoning and the subject usual gives up asking questions.

You'll regret selling your Hexar. I'm growing to love mine even more while shooting with it regularly for 6 months. I've been switching to manual focus to get past any issues with my hexars focusing and full manual is actually really good to have.

Yeah, it's a pretty impressive camera and there is quite a bit to learn/master on it. Mine has a slightly dodgy focus which is annoying as hell, I've missed a couple of cracking snaps because of it. My only other minor gripe is its size, punters know it's a real camera, whereas with a gr1 they just think it's a toy, so candid can be easier.

no need to go postal, EyeCulture in bethnal green does a dev and low res scan for just £3 (35mm c41) I've sent them countless rolls of film over the past 2 years and they've never failed me!
for all other formats/processes i'd check out the guys at Chan photographic imaging in Hoxton, small place but they really know what they're doing and fairly priced!

120 colour film, talk to me.
Looking at getting a few rolls to run through a yashica I have just got. Any cheaper sources than 7 day shop?

Assuming you mean c41 rather than slide, then portra.
7dayshop always used to be one of the cheapest. Been a while since buying much though.

Sort of hoped with the lomo boom somewhere cheaper might pop up.
Oh well. Thank you.

just received my epson v550 today, anyone using VueScan? i've got to scan all my images from 3 weeks in America shooting 2 projects for uni and also some general travel stuff, lot of learning to do in the next couple of weeks so any recommendations welcome, i know its not the best scanner for 35mm and no flatbed is but its all i can justify!

V550 + 35mm is very very very hard to get decent results out of, mainly due to focusing + film flatness problems. Then getting the colours right is another big hassle.
