  • Serious photo of horse +1 rep

  • Tmax 400 x Hexar

  • That's actually really cheap? Good to hear man!

  • I'm having to do the same ATM, but in Spanish. Luckily my Spanish fails me long before my excuses/reasoning and the subject usual gives up asking questions.

  • You'll regret selling your Hexar. I'm growing to love mine even more while shooting with it regularly for 6 months. I've been switching to manual focus to get past any issues with my hexars focusing and full manual is actually really good to have.

  • Scerb scerb scerb

  • This is so cool.
Read about this in The Old Ways.
Really want to do it at some point.

  • Ive had mine 2 weeks and love it......get past the crazy menu and 250 top SS and its a lovely
    camera to use..

  • Sorry keep getting server error

  • Yeah, it's a pretty impressive camera and there is quite a bit to learn/master on it. Mine has a slightly dodgy focus which is annoying as hell, I've missed a couple of cracking snaps because of it. My only other minor gripe is its size, punters know it's a real camera, whereas with a gr1 they just think it's a toy, so candid can be easier.

  • no need to go postal, EyeCulture in bethnal green does a dev and low res scan for just £3 (35mm c41) I've sent them countless rolls of film over the past 2 years and they've never failed me!

for all other formats/processes i'd check out the guys at Chan photographic imaging in Hoxton, small place but they really know what they're doing and fairly priced!

  • Anyone selling a OlympusMJU II?

  • 120 colour film, talk to me.

Looking at getting a few rolls to run through a yashica I have just got. Any cheaper sources than 7 day shop?

  • Assuming you mean c41 rather than slide, then portra.

7dayshop always used to be one of the cheapest. Been a while since buying much though.

  • Sort of hoped with the lomo boom somewhere cheaper might pop up.

    Oh well. Thank you.

  • ^^^cat is too abstract/contrasty/busy for my tastes but I quite like the portrait.

  • just google cheap camera film - there's always a deal somewhere. Ebay is always worth a look too.

  • just received my epson v550 today, anyone using VueScan? i've got to scan all my images from 3 weeks in America shooting 2 projects for uni and also some general travel stuff, lot of learning to do in the next couple of weeks so any recommendations welcome, i know its not the best scanner for 35mm and no flatbed is but its all i can justify!

  • V550 + 35mm is very very very hard to get decent results out of, mainly due to focusing + film flatness problems. Then getting the colours right is another big hassle.
