Enjoying my Giro Republics. Good and stiff for riding. Unobtrusive to wear all day - if a bit hot.
Walking is ok in them.
They ride nicer are lighter and are better quality than my DZRs
They walk better and look less 'cycley' than my Sidis
They are more weather proof and protective than my Vittorias
They are less 'outdoors' than either pair of Shimano MTB shoes I own.
If I had to only have one pair it would probably be the Giros.
