Merge?
But you want the below thread. It's not updated anymore but a lot of frames have new new editions coming out and the pricing is still roughly on and the good shit people rave about and the stuff people slag off hasn't changed that much.

Ha, thats a good point.
For now i wont worry about it thenIm quite unfit at the moment so ill be riding in the good weather at first just to get used to cycling again and to get my fitness up, ill have to invest in that at a later date ;)
But yeah, any opinion on the two bikes?

Dude do you even England?
But go for the Dolan. There's not a whole lot between the two and if you get yourself a bike fit or know your general measurements you can order the Dolan to fit you exactly. The stem size, seatpost, headset height are customisable when you order. Also the Dolan comes in all black and black bike stuff is faster.

That Felt has to be the ugliest thing ever produced... Ever. Dolan any day.

Hi All,
I am interested in buying a fixed/single speed for getting about locally as well as improving my overall fitness; I don't know a huge amount about road bikes, but have been mountain biking for a number of years.
In terms of value for money, where's the best place to start?
Thanks,
Thomas

Ah, that's better.
Have a look at the first post in this thread. Pick one of the current models that fits. Job done.

Hi all, long-time listener first-time caller. I need some help with an OTP SS purchase. My trusty old Charge Plug Freestyler (2010) got nicked 2 weeks ago. I want to replace it with a steady workhorse (preferable with bullhorns or risers as I like being able to see that white van coming at me) in the sub £700 range that I can thrash commuting and across London in the weekends. I've been looking at the following but I can't find anywhere to test ride them all:
Bombtrack - Arise 2015 (£599): would need to swap the drops out but looks well set for on-road and light off-road (not something I'm into... yet)
Cinelli - Bootleg Mystic Rats 2015 (reduced on wiggle to £600): setup well for what I want but warned off the aluminium frame as hard riding (does have a carbon fork though).
Brick Lane Bikes - custom (£699): would need to add brakes and swap drops out for risers/bullhorns
Quella - One 2015 (£549)
State Bike Co - Contender 2015 (£599)
Kona - Paddy Wagon TT 15 (£599)
Surly - Crosscheck SS (£800): above my price range but interested in comments.Any advice or suggestions/reviews gratefully received as it is slim picking for honest reviews on the web for most of these bikes. It's all just marketing spiel repeated on every site. Thanks!
