I seem to have decided what i need, should it ever be the case i have more cash than i know what to do with, is an IWC aquatimer galapagos in the black rubber. Seemingly not too hard wearing but i kind of like the idea of a bit of a tatty 'wabi-sabi' luxury item. Think i may have been checking this thread out for too long...
