Stupidly in a whisky haze i put a bid in for the Maratac SR-1 cause it was cheap and i like the styling.

But fuck me its big.

how does one cancel a bid on eBay? and what excuse can i use?!

Easily done. There's a cancel transaction (or bid) form. Just search for it on the website.
