My TT bike that has developed the annoying habit of dropping the chain when I'm trying to go fast.
The chain seems to drop off the outside of the large chainring when I change down through the 14 -> 13 -> 12 region of my cassette. I'm slightly confused as I've never experienced a rear derailleur shift causing the chain to drop off at the front. Presumably the main culprit is likely to be the H&L limit screws on the front derailleur, no?
I had thought that they were set up ok, and seem to have functioned fine for ages, but maybe something has moved? I did have a quick roadside check and they didn't seem too far out?
Any other suggestions of things to check when I get home? I'm racing tomorrow and don't want any stupid chain issues since my current results are a DNS and a DNF (puncture).
