  • ahhhhhhhh. I wonder if it is possible to turn one into a hackintosh though? An i7 is a bit of an overkill when it can only run googles web based OS.

  • That was me using Chrome remote desktop to access my Mac, which is a killer app for me as it means if I ever need to do something only my Mac can do with the Pixel I can.

    The i7 and 16Gb is total overkill. To be fair it doesn't only run Chrome though, it also runs Ubuntu through Crouton.

    It's definitely possible in theory to turn it into a Hackintosh, but the wi-fi card is a problem apparently. I'm kind of hoping nobody does or I might regret getting the i5/8Gb not the i7/16Gb (LS) because that has more storage...

    People have put Windows 8 on the original Pixel which makes sense given the touch screen.
