you are correct. it has a small piece of material which is removable above the rear drop out. took me a while to realise why that was important when the nicolai chap told me about it :P. when i can afford one, and when i am 100% comfortable with my gear ratio i may be forced to invest :D
edit, you can see the removable piece of material in pic 4, will try to get some nice close ups later.
edit edit: worth pointing out these frames can take discs too :D
It appears to be a bolt through on the drive side dropout to seat stay, they do belt drive for the MTB frames so it looks positive for a belt drive.
