The most terrifying emerging trend is that people seem to think that a single party has to get a majority of votes to be legitimate and lead parliament, meaning a coalition formed by whichever of the tories and labour win the least seats will get mauled in the media.
In my mind a coalition is more democratic, since it reflects a more even representaion of voter preference. Is that not the case?
