I have a silver clincher 6-speed wheelset! front hub is shimano (ax I think) laced to Mavic E2 rim, the rear is a good visual match but is an unbranded hub and rim - they came off a Gazelle A frame I purchased a year or so back... I'll dig out a picture!
They are in my shed in Islington N1, price is £30

Hi Matt, sounds good. A pic would be great! as i think aesthetics are a strong factor here! Best, Jasper.

visually they look good from here! be great to get some close up pics if you can? do you know if the hubs are in good condition and is there much wear on the rims? we'll be fitting new tyres for sure. J

Hi Jasper, I'll sort the close-ups tonight for you...
Hubs seem fine and wear on the rims is minimal (from memory!)
PM you later,Cheers,

Hi @Jasper
If Matty does fulfill your needs, I have 2 'suitable' wheelsets.A modern-ish Rigida clincher one which takes freewheels - currently fitted with a 7 speed one but can remove it and you can use a freewheel of your choice. See photo here:
And then one pretty much like Matty but with a Maillard Helicomatic rear hub and matching 6 speed cassette. So technically does not accept freewheels although it is 6 speeds.
Both wheelsets are straight laterally and radially as I have a truing stand and sorted them out. I have a selection of tyres and tubes and I am happy to include a set of (not so good) tyres and tubes.

Here are some pictures! Rear axle needs tightening, rims are hardly worn at all!

Thanks a lot for the pics and replys! I have now found something suitable from a friend. Best, Jasper
I am after a decent silver (would consider black) wheelset secondhand or new to convert my partners Peugeot. 126mm rear frame spacing, 100mm front and with a 6 speed freewheel if possible.
Please let me know if you have something along those lines for a reasonable price.
Thanks,
Jasper
