Fuck! First commute in a while and managed to swallow some tree sex wee. Damn hayfever!
Had to stop at the LMNH for a vape to calm down my bronchi.

I'm being killed today. Anyone else really suffering?
-
• #233
First day back cycling after a month away, thought I was just being a wimp, but my eyes are fucked. I don't even get hayfever anymore either. IT BURNS, IT BURNS!
-
• #234
It's baaaaaaack! SO annoying!
-
• #235
Yup. First involuntary rubbing of eyes post cycle occurred today :-/

Felt like a true facial victim

I get the worst hayfever in the world and so far this year I have been ok.. I will be out on a training ride to epping later so will see.. I think a lot of it is diesel fumes and humid weather in London
-
• #238
that's it. I'm not leaving the house until October.
-
• #239
Never had hay fever but I definitely want to scratch my eyeballs out today aghhh
-
• #240
Just been up near hyde park, blowing a fucking gail and pollen is pilled up everywhere.. Few people I have seen are really suffering
-
• #241
It's not pollen. It's the trichomes. Some from the emerging leaves and some from the fruits (itchyballs) breaking up. Why we still plant these fucking trees is a mystery.
-
• #242
Do they still plant them?
I know they are really common because they used to be the only tree which would cope with the pollution of old London. I think they try and plant native species now that the air quality is better. -
• #243
RIP eyes. They died today, and when I went handless to rub them a gust of wind nearly knocked me over. As if cycling blind into constant headwind wasn't enough.
-
• #244
didn't even ride in today and my eyes are a mess.. wtf London.
-
• #245
London Planes have been suffering for a few years from a fungal disease called massaria, which might eventually finish them off. Unfortunately it can cause the trees to shed entire branches rather suddenly, in which case Platanus jizz will be the least of our problems

Coughing whilst screwing my eyes up with a runny nose, such a good look. Hopefully it'll chuck it down and wash some away or at least stick it to the floor for tomorrow.
-
• #247
Yep hit me this evening, Thank god I only have a sort time left before heading to warmer clims, Funny how in the tropics I have zero issue with allergies and here im a fucking mess..
-
• #248
The amount of matter in the air has ruined me, feel like I spent all day yesterday sanding MDF in an enclosed space. Nearly threw up in the shower this morning I was hacking that hard.

Milk and eye drops people.
It really takes the edge off. Bit of milk pre/post ride and stoner eye drops as required. -

Another reason to be annoyed about being lactose intolerant. Luckily the rain overnight made the ride in much better this morning!
yep, came all over islington too. bastards.
