agree with @umop3pisdn
RIH as a pub bike. Also the forks are so stiff i have no doubt this is a good option.
get some rack eyelets put on too -
Yeah I was thinking this on the way in to work this morning, could be a nice option.
Been looking at racks, like the look of the cetma 5 rail http://cetmacargo.com/pages/cetma-racks-info
looks like it should be big / strong enough. And then will build a dog box that I can strap to it
Was thinking of selling this so put wheels on to take photos, with wheels on it looks so nice I now don't want to :/
Have a dilemma tho, just put down a deposit on a lil puppy doge and I want to build a bike with a front rack so I can continue my aim of not using the tube ever...
I would want the bike in question to have atleast one brake and be easy to ride with a dog on the front.
Currently have:
Nelson which can run a brake but seems silly putting a rack on that as it's good at being a fast bike.
Brooklyn would be sick with a rack, would need to fit a brake. Think a disc brake would be cool (and rims are made for disc's) but would need to get a disc brake fork for it and relace the front wheel to a disc brake hub.
and have RIH.
So options are sell RIH and build something more suited, maybe a road bike (love cannondale rack in cp)
or
Keep RIH and put rack / brake on brooklyn.
help plz... any suggestions of good disc fork for brooklyn?
Was also thinking get a cheapo pre cursa or something and put rack and disc on...
