Yep, it connects via Ant+ USB stick And I upload using Garmin Express. Once the activity is saved in to Garmin Connect, it should automatically sync with your Strava account (if you have connected the 2 accounts)
HRM is not provided I'm afraid - I only have one and I use it all the time :) As it connects via Ant+ you can use a variety of models that are available, not just the Garmin one if you prefer.
The 310xt also works with powermeters and the Garmin speed/cadence sensors.
