And walk it back down the hills.

Wild guess not being a long term forumenger.
Has the "new" frame been in an accident and "repaired" ? so it could be prone to a sudden case of metal fatigue when under load......
Or in more basic terms, is it a bit of pipe bomb on a random fuse..... :-)The frame has history and not in a good way ?

The frame has history and not in a good way ?
It's belonged to two of the forum's most infamous bike destroyers.

It'll be fine, if @umop3pisdn can keep it below 1000w...

metal fatigue
Carbon frame.
It has a crack at the seatclamp. I'm going to see what that carbon repair place in Hackney have to say about it, but I think it'll be fine.

Duct Tape

Metal fatigue = too much city mashing with Converge in the headphones - instant warranty void.
-
• #284
i did do a lot of mashing with Deafheaven blaring out on this.

Final piece of the puzzle. Bit lighter than I expected, which is nice. Not Mack light, but much cheaper and less waiting.

Decided I can't really justify keeping the Seta so it's going to a friend who's a much faster hillclimber than me anyway.
So we're back to the trusty Vig.

Sure you weren't worried about it exploding?
-
• #291
Nah, I think it'll be fine for HCs. Just seems silly having a bike that'll be used for about 2 hours a year.

Like my Tarmac :S
Maybe I should use it for PBP to justify the insurance bill for it.
-
• #293
What's the other option? Drops on the Shiv?
-
• #294
Kinesis 4S is what I'd assumed I'd be riding but only because I'd basically forgotten about the Tarmac hanging up.

Get on this level.
-
• #296
Who's is that?
-
• #297
Think it belongs to one of the Specialized directors.
-
• #299
That would be quite simple to achieve, no?
Fairing on the front brake? Custom?

SBC Cycles (very recommended) built the rear wheel up for me today, so everything is now purchased and assembled. Just need to glue tubs on, did the front last night but I wasn't happy with it so I'll redo it this week.
Should sneak in just under 5.7kg.
should be fine fixed hill climbing really
