Wild guess not being a long term forumenger.
Has the "new" frame been in an accident and "repaired" ? so it could be prone to a sudden case of metal fatigue when under load...... Or in more basic terms, is it a bit of pipe bomb on a random fuse..... :-)

Carbon frame.
It has a crack at the seatclamp. I'm going to see what that carbon repair place in Hackney have to say about it, but I think it'll be fine.
