Wild guess not being a long term forumenger.
Has the "new" frame been in an accident and "repaired" ? so it could be prone to a sudden case of metal fatigue when under load......
Or in more basic terms, is it a bit of pipe bomb on a random fuse..... :-)
The frame has history and not in a good way ?
