I'm enjoying it a great deal and couldn't be happier myself
You've cracked it then!

Risers and stem slam if it were up to me. Also spoke colour should match hubs really but thats unimportant.
Very good for a first build tbh compared to most people -

I thought about risers, maybe some nice Nitto ones (which would need a new stem), but I really love the support and flexibility bullhorns provide (especially on hills and while sprinting).
But the option is open, however I'm not in a hurry for risers although I'm curious!

Wanted black initially, but my wheel builder is old-school and didn't want to even hear about the black spokes so I went with the classic, and I must say I prefer it now, as it goes nice with the raw frame.

Thank you! Took me almost 4-5 years. A few years just investigating shit and then some for the funds and the parts!

Just fucking WOW

Nice.
Double straps with cages offer slightly more security, especially as you have brakless™ installed. Black straps for preference. Not a fan of the pattern on the bar tape either but again, minor minor details!
Other than that you've nailed it for a first time.
Hope you enjoy every ride.Looks like you read the forum and paid attention, unlike 99% of first time builders who just get over-excited with their first student loan payment...

I think it looks exquisite especially for a first build. Got everything right including saddle and bar angle. All black components was a good decision, suit the frame well.
Your only mistake was to post a NDS shot of it! ;) (Luckily your PD has more pictures.)

These ones are bulletproof, no flex whatsoever so keeping them for now. Double straps do look nice though.
Black straps for preference.
Kashimax is only available in ivory. I've had Zefal black ones before but they were too weak so replaced them with this.

Goes great with the top cap :)

Thanks!

Buy this saddle in matt no logo
Thanks for the suggestion, but it looks too 'racey' for me :/ Also tried Brooks C15 black the narrow new one on, but also looked too thin from the side. Unicanitor is old school, cheap, plastic, and no padding, all black (even the rails) and I can't seem to let it go, whatever I try or look into, this one just look like it's made for the frame. I might be wrong though...

I'm thinking about risers from time to time, or maybe Nitto bullhorn, shorter one (RB-002 perhaps or the likes?), this mash can look a tad big from certain angles, but it is indeed an excellent bar.

Also, I don't know why rear hubs and cogs aren't all fucking splined. That cost me. Had Profile Racing in the rear too but stripped the threads. No regrets (only for the $$) as the White Industries is a category on its own, really a beautiful piece in flesh (with signature bronze axle nuts). And a piece of mind while braking and accelerating.

Getting tempted by black Selle Turbo, would that work? But I don't want another saddle purchase if I'm not sure it could replace the Unicanitor. It looks like it could because it's pretty similar shape-wise, and the rails would be hidden like on the Unicanitor...
Turbo > Unicanitor
or
Unicanitor > Turbo
?
BTW, brand new black Brooks C15, unused and never ridden, only fitted it once in house but didn't liked how it looked on the build. Willing to sell it half-price + shipping on you.

nothing needs improving... just go out and ride it

just got out and ride it
True that. But you know how it goes, always looking to fiddle with something, even when it's not really needed or justified. Right now, I'm eyeballing Selle Turbo (leather or plain vulgaris?) and risers. Also would like black Nitto Jaguar seatpost (although Thompson is top-notch) and maybe more compact/urban Nitto bullhorn. But the current setup really will do me good for a long time to come so I'll just leave it for the foreseeable future... Will get Grado headphones and Dragonfly USB DAC instead...
Thanks to all of you here at LFGSS, without this forum, this build would not be possible, learned a shit-ton here (mostly lurking). Best fixed gear forum on teh internets and I'm not from London let alone from the UK.

A turbo isn't going to look any better than the unicantor, they're both chunky old saddles. Stick some risers and clipless pedals on it and have fun

I'd put nitto bullhorns, the ones with a small drop I think 002 or 010.

Yeah, I think 002 would work: http://www.retro-gression.com/product/nitto-rb-002-bullhorn-handlebar
But I would need a new stem for 26mm clamp unfortunately...
I've posted it on Pedal Room, and just a one-time post here in HHSB/Sleds but I got little commentary.
I would love some more comments, I want to know where it stands. Basically there's not a single fixie where I live so online is the only way for me to discuss/learn etc...
Took me a great deal of time to build it and it's my first ever build. I'm enjoying it a great deal and couldn't be happier myself (riding it every day as hard as I can), but would love some comments from the experts here. Anything goes, I can take a beating so fire away, all types of comments are welcome, especially on how you would improve upon it.
The only difference between the pics on Pedal Room and the current state is Schwalbe One 25 (fucking amazing tire) in front and the seatpost is a bit higher now (took me some weeks to realize it was too low, I'm 190-ish cm).
Instead of posting the pics here, here's the link to Pedal Room:

Here's just the first pic from pedal room:
Pictures are bad (phone pics) and it really looks much better in person. Thanks
