Warburton is being replaced (whether he likes it or not) and hasn't decided to cash in elsewhere, while it looks increasingly like McClaren chose to leave a while ago and take a nice salary regardless of what happened the rest of the season. What message does that send to your players?
If he does leave, like most Derby fans are now expecting, I wouldn't be surprised to hear that there's been a lot of unrest behind the scenes since Jan/feb time.
The interviews with Keogh and Martin after the match pretty much alluded to the fact that there's been some things wrong with squad harmony for a while but they weren't about to mention it on live TV.
Either way, we fucked up big time and deserve what we've got. I just hope we can get it sorted in time for the start of next season.
