So, today's
PAELLA OF THE DAY ON RAILTON ROAD™:Whoever shunted into this poor motorist - perhaps you were too close? (Car hit immediately opposite yesterday's selfishly sessile bike shed)...

Very careful still drunk/very hungover commute. Brightened by a cabbie on Blackfriars giving me heaps of space to overtake cyclists ahead and, when I waved him past, giving me a big smile and telling me (lying) that I was going faster than him anyway. Not today, sir. Cheery chap!
Grins and headache/10 Will probably gin again.

Went down Railton Road last massive queue of traffic back up to the Xroads by the hanger, turns someone had popped into the show but had parked there car at such an angle no one could get passed. Fella then came out of the shop with his bottle of super malt to a blare of hones, which only made him slow to move his car.
Notice a few cars parked on the left as you head towards Herne Hill on Railton Road had their drivers side wing mirrors dangling down...

Good stuff, make sure you go along to a meeting, too. They're a great lot.

That seems as if it may have been painted on after the crash? There are actually two arrows, both pointing at the dent.

Thought I'd nip home for a spot of lunch yesterday and wound up flat on my back surrounded by concerned faces. Was flying up Teddington High Street when an elderly lady coming the other direction turned directly into my path. Cue a split second of disbelief before the crunch and flip.
Fortunately, two plastic policewomen saw it happen.

Last night's commute was interrupted by a couple of scrotes on mopeds leaping off their ASBO-mobiles to have a go with a baseball bat at a young black lad. By the time I'd hopped up on the pavement to get involved they'd scarpered (so no heroics on my part), but the 3 people who did interpose themselves were a white guy on a bike, a black guy who ran a local shop and a muslim woman in a headscarf. It couldn't have been better orchestrated if it was written by a Guardian journalist for Channel 4. What a great city!

In Camden? Two young lads tried to get away from old bill and got hit by a car, one may be paralysed.

Talking of hoping up the pavement, plenty doing that this morning due to traffic fair enough, apart from one person who not being so adapted at this skill when straight over the bar as they neglected to left the front wheel onto the pavement, queue loads of laughter from everyone.

Nope. A different manor. That sounds nasty.

Three near left hooks - every cunt deciding to turn first and indicate second. Audi, minicab, white van. Standard. One po-lice nearly right hooking me at a junction, then glaring at me as if I'd done the wrong. Go chat to your Operation Safeway buddies 20 yards up the road, eh?
A201 from south to north - fucking carnage.

Boring commute nothing to report everyone behaving, felt strange.

Anyone know what happened on Bishopsgate this morning about 09:20, Ambo, Po-Po couple of people giving statements, one lad on a bike didn't look hurt but was being wheeled toward the cop shop.

Heading to Waterloo and just going past Lambeth North station this morning, traffic was pretty bad and saw a cyclicst nearly get squished by a lorry (cyclist was at fault) which meant I started chatting to the cyclist next to me with the go-pro asking him if that thing was recroding which it was.
As we were talking a white van man on the horn constantly shoots up beside us, over takes (still blasting the horn) and then promtly gets stopped at the lights. I go round the front and ask him why he was being so angry as no need and the chap wth the go pro had stopped at his window and tapped (politely) askign him to wind it down for a chat. The driver suddenly lost the ability to speak English and seemed a bit caught out.I left them to it but would be interesting to see footage on Youtube of angry white van man v polite cyclists

Filtering on the left here this morning, very slow / stationary traffic. I usually go outside, but could see a tipper further up the road, so decided to stick left, mistake... Driver stops just before junction to leave a gap, car coming the opposite way sees me and stops, first driver suddenly decides to go left, and turns at the same time as signalling. Yell "Cunt, what the fuck", seems to do the trick. My spidy senses told me someone would act like a twat this morning. Luckily headwind / tiredness /caution meant I was crawling along. Wouldn't filter again.

Headwind all the way to work.
But beautiful weather and the first time wearing the new Jersey. My first piece of lycra. Nice. -

It really wouldn't.
@Oliver Schick just joined the mailing list for that, I don't know a huge amount about how/what to campaign for so won't say much but I can hopefully read and learn from it until I do know enough to make up my mind about what to support more. Thanks for posting.
