Dear bike lockup facility -
Have you considered Cycle Training ? -

Shed Training?

My newly purchased car was once accidentally in collision with the wall of my garage.* All my mates took the piss royally, but based on this morning's incident I think we can work out the real guilty party here
*True fact.

Be helpful if that photo was sent to all the main insurers, it could help resolve the collision the bashful driver's going to declare.

Genesis guy said he'd taken plenty of pics.

Yeah - Cycle Shed Training :)
could avoid pulling out from behind the stationary car. -

Very busy all the way through from World's End to Tower Hill.
Hit a child on a BMX who was riding across a zebra crossing. I had enough vision to see people walking across but not enough to catch a tiny BMX going a bit quicker. No excuse + felt like an idiot. Normally more careful at crossings. Was going very slowly, neither of us fell off, no damage to us or bikes. He apologised, so did I.
6/10 would preferably not do again.

Very glad you're OK!
And thanks for reassuring us about the bike. :)

That's the first incident I've heard of in which one of these hangars has been totalled. Not good. However, it was always to be expected--drivers have been known to crash into parked cars before, so clearly that was going to happen with bike hangars, too. Hope they get it sorted to get a new one there!

What a massive paella the driver must be.

Oliver - its a bike lockup facility.
Hangars are for aeroplanes

You're welcome to park in your hangar whatever you like. :)

Most I got while riding is 'Ooouuooh look at the lights' (simplified translation), while having small Bookman USB Lights on in the night time.

Had a dose of déjà vu.

Ah so I arrived about 5 secs after that Railton road crash- taxi passenger should be able to give evidence. Neighbour & user of shed is Southwark council inclusion / community big wig - his bike is in the next shed up.
Railton is mostly full of twunts on a rat run - my joy today was waving d-lock at Maserati driver whilst other cyclists accused him of being under endowed. Apparently driving a sports car gives you immunity to speed limits & the Highway Code. Strangely apologetic when he was bottle necked & col de Herne peloton surrounded him.

Red minis are like buses. They're red, innit?

This happened as I walked past. Twat was obviously going for the gap then swerved out of it into the hanger. Massive bang.
I looked at it last night and half the (double) hanger has been removed.
Very glad no one was walking by on that side of the road.

Railton rd really needs to be sorted out. Less parking or one way or something more clever and schick esque.
The bit outside my house and, more so, the Atlantic road stretxh just cause gridlock stand offs the whole time. The poor 322 bus drivers must have the patience of rocks.

Get a campaign going to have Railton Road filtered. The main issue is the 322 bus. There's a possibility of a bus-and-cycle only filter, although there's not really a template for that yet and re-routing the bus would be a drawback and may not be possible. (Local buses are a good thing.)
Lambeth Cyclists (http://www.lambethcyclists.org.uk/) would be able to tell you more, e.g. about history of campaigning on Railton Road and what has been explored before. The key thing, though, is to get local residents on-side. I can't imagine that everyone isn't thoroughly fed up with constant through motor traffic.

I've never lived on it but never found the traffic to be that awful apart from on Saturdays... Best short cut down to Brixton ever IMO...
If anything the rat runs down Dalberg and Kellett Roads are way more dangerous, impatient dicks in BMWs trying to run you off the road avoiding Railton...

You need to do filtering area-wide, yes, and include streets like those, too.
The number of bike racks I have to dodge on pavements
