Outside chance but I don't suppose anyone has a cf sl/slx frame in xs they want to sell, or would like to swap for a brand new cf sl size S frame?
Girlfriend managed to order the wrong size frame and now all xs frames are sold out. Face palm.

Just ordered a XS SL - if the sizing is all wrong, i'll let you know.

• #784
How? They're out of stock no?
Her frame is going back tomorrow now I think - 30 days limit and all that. -
• #785
How tall are you that you need an XS?

I'm 170cm, 80cm inseam. Based my size on stack/reach and my Supersix 52 (wanted a shorter reach).
Oh, and i bought a complete bike. (9.0 Aero - selling off the wheels/groupset)

Just joined the crew with an ultimate CF SL. Took for a few rides, handles like a dream and a smidge under 7.5kg with pedals, size 62cm.
Only thing is, the front Di2 derailleur died on my last ride. I've since charged the bike (although the rear works fine and it arrived fully charged), had a fiddle with the limit screws, retightened and aligned the bracket and the derailleur angle...no dice. Waiting to hear back from the service team.

Di2 automatically disables the front mech when battery Level gets Critical.
If you've charged Your battery, and it still dies. Maybe there is simply a lose cable somewhere giving the impression to the system that the battery is low?

I recommended a mate get the 105 equiped carbon endurace as his first road bike.
Have to say it was the Perfect chioce (Budget allowing. Its a lot of bike for an entry Level purchase). Its obviously comfy. But its seriously light yet planted too.
Would recommend again.

Sizing down always gets my respect

Thanks @amey and @Smallfurry. The Art's Cyclery vid was my first port of call after the techdoc, and I thought a full charge would do the job - a good shout though re a loose cable.
I thought perhaps plugging it into a laptop with some Shimano software would diagnose the problem..I just nipped into the LBS by work and they don't have it. Hoping Condor might be able to help.

Warranty replacement on my 2011 Ultimate CF with a small, suspicious looking crack. I'm still riding it but they're replacing it. No questions asked, 2 weeks and I'll have a new frame. Great service.

Update - Canyon have given me GBP 40 to get a diagnosis from a Di2-equipped LBS. Condor are booked up for 2 weeks but a quick call to Bespoke and they pointed me in the direction of a possible fix..unfortunately still no joy so taking it in there for closer look.

Sigma? Pearsons? Richmond cycles? Velosport? Lots of shops out there who can help you ..
-
• #796
Pretty much any bike shop can help. Lbw is right next to Condor if you need it to be in town.

Take both mechs off, plug FD in where the RD is, and vice versa. That would tell you if it's the cable or the mech itself that has the problem.
-
• #798
Yeah this.
I find Di2 way way easier than mechanical groupsets but then again I find comfort in machines than humans .. -
• #799
I've diagnosed the problem as being with the shifter, as when you hold down both FD shifter paddles to check the battery level there's no light on the junction box. Pulling out the cable at either end and plugging back in to get the 'click' doesn't solve the issue either.
Ah, I didn't realise pretty much every shop is set up for Di2 - I need somewhere east or in the City ideally. I stupidly thought you would need a shop that had the Shimano software (this is what Canyon told me anyway).
