Ground capacity is ~26,000. Let's say 22,000 of those are season tickets. A £50 increase across all of those is £1.1m for the full year. A drop in the ocean compared to selling / buying a player or the increase of £20m in TV rights money.
It seems like a paltry amount to raise by pissing of so many people.
Because your gates aren't big enough? Because your wage bill has increased?
Because that money from TV rights will be spent?
