But it's not a large enough sum of money to make a difference to any of the above (in a meaningful way).
Ground capacity is ~26,000. Let's say 22,000 of those are season tickets. A £50 increase across all of those is £1.1m for the full year. A drop in the ocean compared to selling / buying a player or the increase of £20m in TV rights money.
It seems like a paltry amount to raise by pissing of so many people.
