I have visions of Lucy in Tuscany. He's sat at a table swathed in plush velvet cloth and fine china. The scene lit romantically with the flickering light of a grandiose and elaborate candelabra. A long stemmed glass in his hand that will hold near half a bottle of Merlot. He's wearing a tatty but much beloved pair of slippers, a fine green waistcoat, a dirty mac and a bowler hat. Nothing else. The china, bearing dumpster scraps, is chipped and cracked and the velvet a dress stolen from a washing line. And in this eclectic scene, beneath a Tuscan flyover, Lucy stands to read his latest work to his adoring entourage of badgers wielding hub caps.
On each hub cap, a childish scrawl proclaims "best writa Evahhhhh".
The candles are Lucy's own earwax.
Does that mean you'll have to donate a portion of your royalties to the forum when you're living it up in Tuscany surrounded by awards and fawning critics?
Just sayin....
