• Yes it does, Thanks. Anyone else? Pretty please.

Just want to rule out as many things as possible. The tech guy at apple told me if their engineers come back with no joy then they want me to wipe the machine clean (here we go again!), install a fresh copy of the OS and then use it with nothing else on it for a couple of days... if no prob then to install 1 programme at a time, with a few days between them to determine if there is a 3d party apple that is the troublemaker here... this would in effect put more than half my machine out of order for God knows how many days... not gonna go down that road with them!!!

  • Fuck that noise!
I have a first gen retina which was running a mix of legit cc and cc14 until my subscription ended. I don't think I ever had any problems reg sleep but now I'm wondering if I did and I. Just didn't care because it happened so rarely.

This thread is giving everything viruses.

  • Silly question but are you/they sure it's a software problem? There are lots of other models of Mac not having this problem which makes me wonder if it's not a hardware issue unique to the retina MBP, which would explain why it has happened to you again?

Is there anything inside the retina MBP that isn't inside other Macs?
