Ray Lewis swears by the stuff . It comes from traditional Chinese medicine but studies show it has no proven anabolic properties nor does it raise testosterone , put it in the same category as glandulars in the 90's . I think it's banned because it contains anabolic growth factors including testosterone but in too small quantities to have any bioactivity . It does seem to support bone healing rate but this is not well researched also it may aid skin regeneration rates .
