Lots of france all from france. That '653' is a really nice frame. I left all the paper work back at home regarding the build dimensions and frame materials but it was one of the later reynolds tubings - 1992 ish. I can dig that out when I go back home to france. It came with a Deda quill conversion thing for a modern Deda stem, I can try and check that size and if its 54ctt later this afternoon.
The seat tube size should be 27.2 iirc. 98% sure on that.
If I was selling this frame on ebay which is too much hassle for me here in the uk and I had the paperwork, I'd expect 150 euros plus as this is one of the best steal frames I have put my hands on. I have almost all the classic frames from around the 70's and early 80's but this is a touch lighter, cleaner . Sure its not a classic and its been repainted all be it in paris professionally but as a frame to ride its very good. If it was a little larger I would be riding crits on it this year.
Lastly, yes the headset is really ugly. Anyway, measurements to follow.

Thanks for all the info!
Agreed on all points, it looks like quality and would be absolutely perfect for a project i'm working on, love the dainty seat stays. Just need to make sure the measurements are small enough! 52/53 cm ctc seattube and toptube are the ideal, as would non-French bb and hs (but that's probably asking for too much!). So yeah please let me know when you get a chance to measure it all up :-)
Thanks!
Dat's a lotta French. Lots of good projects too!
Interested (ie provisional dibs) in the '653' if 54cm is ctt, but it looks more like ctc right?
Also, French bb and hs threading and 22.0 stem needed?
